Nothing says Opening Day like a good political controversy

It's that time of year again. Today the rest of the MLB (this being the "payroll under 100 million bracket) kicks off and that means Obama will be throwing out the first pitch at the Nats-Mets game. If you recall, this is what happened last year.

If I have to sit through another day where the first pitch of the season is politicized I'm going to choke someone. It's already a given that the amount of "boo"'s will be analyzed but I'd rather not hear about if there is a camera man conspiracy to hide the results of a bad throw.

So, for the sake of everybody, Mr Obama, please throw a damn strike.

Update: Judging from what I'm seeing on the Twitter it looks like Obama may have repeated last year's performance and threw the baseball like a limp-wristed girl. Oddly enough he is now in consideration for the 5th man in the rotation for the Nationals. Heyyy ohhhhh!
